The Wines: (Winter 1999)

1997 Chardonnay:
Winemaker says: Clean and well balanced with butterscotch, oak, and citrus. Good finesse on the finish. Full bodied, yet smooth and drinkable. (Refrigeration may cause tartrate crystals to form. This is a natural occurance and does not effect the wine.)
Varietal: Chardonnay; Appellation: Columbia Valley; Vineyards: Conner Lee, Muncey Park; Blend: 43% Conner Lee, 57% Muncey Park; TA: 0.67 g/100ml, pH: 3.35, Alc., 12.5%; RS: 0.16%; Harvest: 10-Oct-1997, 11-Oct-1997; Cases produced: 339; Bottled: 5-Sep-1998; Released: 1-Dec-1998.
1997 Pinot Noir: Winemaker says: A light, finesseful wine with forward cherry and fruit and hints of pepper. Aged in older French oak barrels to allow fruit to peek through subtle layers of oak. This versatile wine accompanies salmon, chick, duck, or veal dishes.
Varietal: Pinot Noir; Vineyards: La Center Vineyard; Cases produced: 71; TA: 0.65 g/100ml, pH: 3.69, Alcohol: 11.6%, 0.19%; Brix at harvest: 20; Harvest: 12-Oct-1997; Bottled: 9-Aug-1998; Released: 1-Dec-1998.

1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve:
Winemaker says: Crisp in texture with berry, plum, and cherry notes balanced with touches of coffee and spice. A hint of softness, but rich in flavors.
Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot; Vineyards: Graves, Conner Lee; Appellation: Columbia Valley; Cases produced 137; TA: 0.70 g/100ml, pH: 3.54, Alcohol 13.3%, RS: 0.18%; Harvest: 10-Oct-1996, 20-Oct-1997; Bottled: 11-Aug-1998; Released: 22-Jan-1999.
